Day 1 (of 3) of the Intel Developers Forum has kicked off with Intel showcasing a demo of a Pentium 4 running @ 4.7Ghz, Rambus shows off the new SiS R658, which is a new Pentium 4 chipset that features Rambus. More can be found at THG here.
Also from intel is that their next generation of chips will have antipriacy features on them to protect against or block such things as viruses and hackers...... full article here.
New Scientist have an article about fitting 250 terabits of data per square inch. Makes you wonder don't it :)

Nvidia have a new DVD player on the market, take a look here. Makes you wonder why they don't release it free for all those Nvidia cards we have bought from them..... maybe the new cards will have them as an extra
