A few people sent word that new versions of Trillian are now available. For your $25, you get a copy of the software, full technical support via an e-mail ticketing system and a year's worth of free upgrades. Not ready to pay for Trillian? Trillian 0.74 has also just been released, and will remain FREE! We are committed to maintaining and supporting a free version of our software for those unable to support our efforts. You can get the latest free version here from AusGamers.

This site says that 2GHz Celerons will arrive next week. It's in German, so perhaps stick this fish in your ear.

From mpot: In today's news, you linked to something which allows you to create 5 PDFs for free. FreePDF is a utility that allows you to create PDF documents on Windows for free. It's a little messy to install (maybe I'll put together a how-to in the forums...), but works in the same way as the expensive Adobe PDF Writer - you can print to a virtual PDF printer driver from any application. In my experience, FreePDF generally creates more accurate and smaller PDFs than Adobe's PDF Writer.

In response to our earlier DIY Subwoofer Enclosure article, pH@tTm@N has made a followup article in the forums, featuring a 15" subwoofer.. some interesting discussion in that thread.

Techwatch have an article all about Serial ATA.

Missed this one earlier in the month, but AnandTech have an article comparing some AthlonMP 2200+ servers.. dual-CPU rackmount boxes. Sounds like just the thing to replace our ageing workhorse Thor. :)

Mike spotted a cool BF1942-themed case in an Argentinean forum.

A little more info about the Intel Developer Forum here, thanks neXus.

GameSmack have a little article checking out the new SP1 for WinXP.

DWPG have made something out of aluminium.. apparently a heatpipe or something, but with 4 banners and only 1 picture per page I couldn't be bothered clicking all the way through to find out what the story was.

Bravo sent word of this watercooling project involving a huge heater core and (on the 2nd page) an interesting approach to waterblock production, apparently based on some info from our own Extreme Cooling forum.

JimX spotted a bizarre, but oddly compelling little flash thingo.
