In recent news there have been talks of a porn company on offer to buy Napster. More info can be found over at News.com. IMO, after reading the article I don't think this will take very well with childrens parents, I could see some more lawsuits around the corner .....

The usual from [H]ard|OCP in a recent article on Why they Hate apple, from info can be found here.

The Tech-Report reports (sorry) that ATI are about to release their new All-In-Wonder card(s) on Monday. More info can be found over at the Tech-Report

Silicon Strategies have an article about Rambus 1,066-MHz. It looks like Intel won't be ditching RDRAM as soon as we thought (or ever).

The Inquirer reports that Intel will be introducing the "Gallatin" Chips (Xeons) a little early than expected (by year end). So we can also expect the 3Ghz and above Xeons just after the desktop release of the P4s @ 3Ghz.

Also at the inquirer AMD are changing (slightly) the PR Rating on their chips to pave the way for there new Barton chips, more over on that here.

HardwareLuxx has a 31 (or 32) chips round up over here. Which includes the new P4 2.8Ghz. It's in another language but the graphs speak for themselves

As reports earlier in the week (IDF Day 1), Tomshardware has a round up on all three days of Intel Developer Forum which can be found here in day 1, day 2 and day 3

And from Zdnet a Microsoft researcher has found the first instance of a Smiley Face used in an e-mail (in 1982), more info over at Zdnet.com.
