News Ltd are continuing their move towards charging for online content, with the first Australian newspaper to throw up a "paywall" being The Australian. Non-subscribers will be able to access "extensive general content" on the website and mobile sites, but News Digital Media chief executive Richard Freudenstein said a "large amount of unique, premium content" would be available only to subscribers.

E3 is on at the moment, and one thing people are talking about is a new 3D display from Sony. Paul noticed that our Department of Defence has lost their X-Files. The only file Defence was able to locate was titled ''Report on UFOs/Strange Occurrences and Phenomena in Woomera''; the others had been destroyed. ''We also discovered one [other] file, which had not been destroyed but could not be located,'' Ms Carpenter wrote.

Today's timewaster is entanglement from Martin. I think we've seen something similar before.
