I've linked this before, but now it's complete and definitely deserves a second look. OCAU Forums member Bastard Child has put together a massive guide to 2D design with the free drafting program Solid Edge. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at CAD or mocking up modding parts etc, this will definitely get you up and running:
