I was down at KingMax's Australian headquarters this afternoon checking out some of their goodies. KingMax aren't really all that well known here, but they make a surprising array of products. Everyone knows of their RAM, particularly their PC133 and more recently PC150 SDRAM, but they also make PCMCIA network cards and modems, network hubs, switches and cards and they are the sole Australian distributor for LGIC (LG Electronic's Information & Communication division), bringing in their high-end security systems, network gear and a range of other goodies.
Anyway, the main reason why I was there was to check out their PC150 SDRAM, and you can expect a full review later. I took some photos while I was there and I thought this one might interest you guys - it's a selection of a few of the different types of RAM that KingMax make. Notice they almost all use KingMax's patented "TinyBGA" technology, where the RAM is mounted directly on the board, without using the exposed pins you normally see on RAM sticks.
