Congratulations on being chosen the Iron Folder for the month. How does it feel to be chosen by your peers for such a prestigious award?

Very Proud and overjoyed :)

Why do you think you were chosen?

Continual Long term commitment to Folding@Home with OCAU. Help & Support to the OCAU folding community and Ramping up when we have needed the boost :)

Why do you participate in Folding?

To one day hope that cures are found for many different diseases and illnesses and make life better for everyone.

If Folding could find a cure for just one disease tomorrow, which one would it be and why?

Cancer as it affects many people in so many different ways.

What would you like Team 24, to know about you, that might surprise them?

Am probably the Youngest, longest serving Folder with OCAU. Started when I was 16 back in 2001.

Where do you see your folding activities in the next year or two?

With either many more Boxen or Multi-Processor Boxen and a ton of GPU’s!

Have you been successful borging? If so, what kind of borging worked for you? (For example, friends, family, and/or work?)

Many years ago yes. Friends and the Educational places I attended (High School). These days just family borged PC’s.

Any ideas on improving the DC subforum, or suggestions or improvements for our Team?

The Competitions coming back have been great and we need to make sure it continues and supporting the Folding Fund with any possible contributions.

What challenges have you faced in your F@H efforts?

Electricity High Bills like most people :) Specially when I had 2x 9800gtx2 kicking along.

How much do you spend on F@H? If you consider equipment, electricity, and other activities that support F@H... how much of your life has DC’ing consumed?

Too much!

Do you have friends, family, or neighbors that know about your F@H activities? What do they think?

They seem really interested and like to understand more about it and are surprised about it and that something like this exists and can help so much.

Do you game? If so, how long and what types do you prefer? Consoles or PC?

Yes! Working for the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer I would hope I did :). These days lucky to get in say 10hrs a week and enjoy many types of genres. First Person Shooters, Action Adventures, Role Playing, Real Time Strategies, Racing and I’m sure there is more. Both Console & PC but these days it has been more console so more F@H time.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Keep up the fold OCAU!

On behalf of Team 24, I thank you as well for your contributions to this team and I thank you for your time to talk about it. Keep on folding!
