A man in China has been paralyzed from playing a boxing arcade game while waiting to get his phone fixed. Zhen did go into surgery, but doctors do not think he will recover. His wife and family are unlikely to get compensation from the arcade, The Nanfang adds, because the arcade game did have a written health warning.

There's an interesting read here, regarding the death of the personal computer, and how it also might mean the demise of the Web. The gist of the argument is this: as app-happy mobile devices become the primary way we compute, the good old browser becomes irrelevant.

Apparently your mobile phone is dirtier than a public bathroom, which inspired the release of phone sanitzing cases at this year's CES. Barnes said his $50 device uses ultraviolet radiation which "kills the bacteria's DNA, so that they can't live on your phone anymore."

So how about a flat pack car you can build, apparently in under an hour... introducing the Urban Tabby. The firm behind the project is called OSV, which stands for Open Source Vehicle, meaning anyone can contribute to developing and customising the project.

Very cool video here of an Indonesian Volcano with blue lava. Flowing blue lava can be seen flowing down the volcano and the smoke and steam rising from the blue flames add to the eerie beauty of it all.
