NVIDIA have unveiled the details of their Turing architecture, with coverage on Techgage, Guru3D, PC Perspective, Tweaktown, TechPowerUp, HotHardware. Many other deeper technical details regarding the Turing GPU microarchitecture were kept closer to the vest and revealed only to smaller group of attendees at the event. However, today we’re now able to disclose some of those technical details, new features and capabilities.

The EU have approved a controversial copyright directive, thanks Adam. At the heart of the Directive on Copyright are two divisive articles – Article 11 and Article 13 – that have been dubbed the “link tax” and “meme ban” articles respectively. Critics of the Directive on Copyright argue that these articles mean that platforms will have to pay a fee to share a link to a news article and have to start filtering and removing memes. Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa will be the first private moon tourist in history. SpaceX announced in February 2017 that two passengers would be flying around the moon in the company's Crew Dragon capsule, launched by its Falcon Heavy rocket. But earlier this year, Musk said SpaceX was considering using BFR instead and on Monday confirmed that Maezawa is "the same person" who was announced before, just with a larger group now onboard.
Australian research has shown that loot boxes in games are essentially gambling. This follows news that gambling regulators around the world are formally expressing concerns about loot boxes. Considering the survey findings, it was recommended that games containing loot boxes carry parental advisories and a description that clearly state the presence of "in-game gambling content". Additionally, restricting the sale of games that contain loot boxes to players of the legal gambling age should be given "serious consideration".
