Retro Gaming August 2021 (0 Comments) (link)
 Friday, 6-August-2021  00:05:53 (GMT +10) - by Agg

This month's Retro Racing is F1 Racing Championship from 2000. Wait, 2000 isn't retro! That's only.. (counts on fingers) oh. Right. Anyway: F1 Racing Championship contains several playable game modes: Single, Arcade, Grand Prix (training, qualifications and warm-ups) and Time Attack. Overall, the game features 22 drivers from 11 teams, and 16 tracks used in the 1999 Formula One World Championship. The multiplayer relies on local area network integration, supporting 22 players to compete simultaneously. A two player split screen mode is also included.

Meanwhile the Retro Let's Play game is Stubbs The Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse from 2005. Stubbs wakes up as a zombie in the middle of Punchbowl, a newly built city in the 50s that has big clunky robots, laser guns, and hover cars. Being a newly animated zombie in this metropolis, most of your time is spent doing zombie things, like eating brains and attacking humans. Stubbs is no ordinary zombie; he has special abilities that he can use after eating enough brains. He tosses his head like a bowling ball and blows up enemies, making them zombies. He can rip his arm off, and you can control the arm like a remote control car. How have I never heard of this game before?
