Thank you once again Zip. We'll see what's broken when it comes back up. I can't get the db server to even show me the structure at present. However, I took a full backup yesterday so worst case I'll set them all back to there.
I've been working on making the forums work on the new server today, coincidentally, as Zip seem to be having this problem on a weekly basis. If I can make it work I will move the forums before the rest of the site (and the domain proper). This is complicated a little by Zip using a different database program to the new server, so it's taking a little fiddling to get going.
I'll keep you posted.
