Very nice supercooled rig on ChrisTek..

Interesting stats over on OCWorkbench, showing how many units each mobo manufacturer shipped in the first half of 2000..

PCStats checked out a 20GB external FireWire drive.. hmm!

Seems IE5.5 brings at least 1 improvement to the masses, the ability to easily reject cookies that you don't want..

OCWorkbench also have a review of a Leufkens peltier kit..

The International Space Station is coming along, the third bit is going to connect up in a few days. If you're interested in getting a glimpse of it, you can check on this NASA site when it will be flying over your part of the planet - like satellites, you can see it at dusk because it reflects sunlight down onto the surface.. looks like a fast-moving star.

More info, this time on Tech-Report, about NVIDIA trying to buy exclusive promo rights on websites. I'm not sure if you guys are interested in this stuff, there certainly seems to be a lot of jumping up and down over it at the moment, but it's not all that surprising to me - I mean, marketing people want to make their products look the best they can, so of course they ask for this kind of stuff. The important thing, to me, and where the real "ethical debate" comes into it, is whether or not the WEBMASTER accepts the exclusivity if he's aware it will skew the perception of his site and the products covered on it.

Anand have an Apollo Pro 133A motherboard roundup posted..

And, for those of you with a huge chunk of money burning a hole in your pocket, they also have their High-End Systems Guide posted..
