The "hexacopter" linked earlier reminded Lemming of the UAV Challenge - Outback Rescue 2010 which starts in September. Entrants in the competition will embark on an Outback rescue mission, which involves finding and assisting 'Outback Joe', a lost bush walker in Australia's vast outback using UAVs. You will need to design and build a machine to do this. More info here, discussion thread here.

HotHardware have a video how-to for building an HTPC. In this video, we'll give you some suggestions on a few component selection options for building an HTPC, as well as a high-level overview of its assembly and a few key design points to look out for. We'll then of course demo our systems for you to show you what you can do with an HTPC.
