Current record: Most users ever online was 2,076, Today at 5:20 AM.
The current record was set when a forum thread was linked on Slashdot, resulting in a massive spike in guest users.
Records:
- 2076 - 27th August 2009 - Gigs' Concrete Slab Watercooling hit the front page of Slashdot, a week after we moved to the new servers.
- 1495 - 11th January 2009 - Rainwulf's Project Monolith linked on Engadget
- 1188 - 14th October 2008 - Again nothing in particular, people reported Whirlpool slow, perhaps that helped.
- 1165 - 1st September 2008 - Another one due to gradual growth and forum guests
- 1147 - 11th August 2008 - This one just happened without any organising, not sure why :)
- 1143 - 11th of February 2008 - Organised record break attempt by Vulkanyaz - first one with guest browsing enabled
- 1100 - 27th February 2007 - Organised record break attempt by -KoMoD0-
- 1059 - 6th March 2006 - Organised record break attempt by WaLLLY
