The Canon EOS 350D is an EF-S mount entry-level Digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera that is part of the Canon EOS (Electro-Optical System), making it compatible with all EOS accessories, including EF lenses and EX flashes.  The camera is sold in Japan as the EOS Kiss N Digital, and in the USA as the EOS Digital Rebel XT.  It has an 8.0 megapixel 22.2mm × 14.8mm sensor, giving it a crop factor of 1.6, and unlike the EOS 300D which was effectively a crippled version of the EOS 10D, has most of the missing features enabled.

It is sold as a body only, in a basic kit with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II lens, in an "enthusiast kit" with the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 USM lens, and in two twin lens kits which add either the EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM lens or the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III to the basic kit.
