MythTV Backend Server built and owned by HyRax1. Comprises of an Intel E6300 CPU, Asus P5KPL-CM motherboard, 4GB DDR2/800 Kingston RAM, six 1,5TB Seagate SATA HDDs, Antec Three Hundred case with Seasonic 750w PSU. Runs Ubuntu Server 10.04.2. Runs headless (no GUI, just boots to a text console) and is remotely managed and viewed on other PC's in the house with the MythTV Frontend. The server is connected to three Asus U3100 MyCinema USB Digital TV tuners which are connected via an F-Connector digital TV splitter from Dick Smith which is then connected to the building antenna. The server overall is surprisingly quiet with the HDD's making the bulk of any noise.
