Interestingly enough, the newer OSX 10.4 Tiger has less software than the earlier versions. (Panther and Jaguar)

Tiger doesn't have included iMovie iTunes iPhoto

These are now part of the iLife package (which costs extra above and beyond Tiger) hmmm :-(

Exposé <not easily described...but one very handy inclusion. I will let Apple explain....."Exposé gives you instant access to any open window with a single keystroke. Display all open windows as thumbnails, view windows of the current application, or hide all windows to quickly locate a file on your desktop">

A Whole lot of other hidden (command line) software / programs etc....think Unix / Linux and you will get the idea of just how much is actually included.

Some nice / handy touches are

Ability to print directly to a pdf file, already inbuilt in the OS. CDROM Burning mastering included File compression expansion and compression included
