Motorola E398 - Resources

As many OCAU users have discovered in the 1-2 years since the Motorola E398 was released, it has proved to be an incredibly versatile and flexible phone via various firmware released by hackers in the community such as Eyes_only_d (V398 based on Razr V3 firmware), sh03y (i398 with 25 song iTunes + video recording), and recently, TomeQ (ViperROKR based on 6FR ROKR firmware).

Most of the resources for this phone are a bit scattered over the web, so this is just an attempt to consolidate them a little for OCAU users. Feel free to add your own links + sections, but keep it readable please :)

*.avi to .3gp software : nexx tied a bunch of Open Source apps together with a tiny batch script to create *the best* quality 3gp video converter I have seen. It's quick , simple, does batch conversions and the video and audio produced is amazing. A frontend for this wouldn't go astray, but maybe when someone has time ;)
