Current record: Most users ever online was 1100 on 27th February 2007 at 09:23 PM

The current record was achieved in an attempt to beat the previous attempt of 1059 people. BBQ went down for about an hour or so, and then the record was achieved at 9:23PM (GMT+10). The alterior motive for this record attempt was to test the new addition of MySQL Replication that Agg put in. The previous record was achieved in an attempt both break the 1000+ users online mark and give the new database server BBQ - which replaced Pie - a decent workout.

A screen capture of the forums hitting 1000 users for the first time.
A screen capture from the database stresstest.

The 1000+ users thread also probably set a record for fastest growing thread with just under 500 posts from 8-9PM AEST.
