The Internet is like a road, the Information Highway. Responsible parents do not leave their children to play on the road unattended while they tend to their house chores. It is their duty to ensure their children are safe.  You wouldn't leave children unattended at the beach, the playground or in the kitchen.  Why would you do it with the Internet?  There are many unknown dangers on the Internet and so it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure the safety of their children.

Because I can --- http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1079347&p=9#r168 Allow me, if I may, to relate two incidents where I was exposed – without invitation nor warning – to two penises.

The first was while I was walking through Sydney's Hyde Park one night and an obviously deranged man jumped out of the bushes. He wasn't wearing pants and was yelling and enthusiastically waving his dick around.

The second was when some random guy IMed me with a picture of him sitting on a bed displaying a large erection.

Now, can anybody here guess which one of these incidents I found to be more disturbing and which one was so random that I had actually forgotten about it until five minutes ago? ---

It's quiet in here. Not much news today. Face itchy. Mm. Tasty. --Jay 22:38, 1 November 2008 (EST)

Should this quote be removed?:

Don’t shrink from a new technology just because it may be subject to criminal abuse. Exploit its strengths, while controlling its weaknesses. This will be the way to survive in an increasingly competitive world." -Dr. P.N. Grabosky Australian Institute of Criminology

Just don't like the whole part about 'controlling its weaknesses'. Doesn't make for a strong quote.
