Eden

From OCAU Wiki

--Stmok 17:09, 16 Feb 2006 (EST)

This the name used by VIA to label C3 or C7 based CPUs that are classified as "Low Voltage" (LV) and "Ultra Low Voltage" (ULV). For the most, they are not all that different to their C3/C7 brothers. They operate the same way, but with less voltage. They're suitable for the embedded market where a fanless CPU is often desired.

C7 Eden (Low Voltage)

Speed : 400MHz to 1.2GHz at 7W

Max TDP : 2.5W (400Mhz) to 7W (1.2Ghz)

Idle TDP : 0.5W

Cooling : Fanless

Bus : VIA V4 bus (Which is VIA's version of Intel P4 bus)

C7 Eden (Ultra Low Voltage)

Speed : 1Ghz and 1.5Ghz Max TDP : 3.5W (1Ghz) to 7.5W (1.5Ghz)

Idle TDP : 0.5W

Cooling : Fanless

Bus : VIA V4 bus (Which is VIA's version of Intel P4 bus)
