What is the meaning or significance of your OCAU username, if any?

Pretty simple really, year I was born and has been my username for every ISP I ever joined too.

Which month and year did you win Iron Folder?

Boky won april 2011

How many F@H points do you have?

Err there are stats? Somewhere between 15 and 16 million I believe.

How many boxen do you have? Break this number down between borgs and your personal machines.

Personal equals 4-5 on and off, a friend also has one too.

When did you start folding for Team 24?

Early 2001 one for me, boky may have been a late starter around 2004 I think.

What is your average F@H points per month?

Varies greatly depending on circumstances at the time. You can see a few other teams I drove still on the board, such as GamingSA, GamingAU, and I originally folded for Teddy2.

Any other DC projects?

None

How many boxen do you have running the following clients?

regular client — 0

SMP client — 2-3

GPU client — 1 currently, should be 2 but I need a wireless adaptor for the other.

PS3 client — 0

Windows 7, just one XP box left now

Congratulations on being chosen the Iron Folder for the month. How does it feel to be chosen by your peers for such a prestigious award?

Its an honor, especially given I only really fold to keep boky’s account and hence memory alive these days.

Why do you think you were chosen?

Dedication to the purpose, plus people still remember, love and miss boky.

Why do you participate in Folding?

Originally? I hate to see things go to waste. CPU cycles are things, seems a shame to waste them, especially when they could possibly cure Alzheimer's' one day perhaps.

If Folding could find a cure for just one disease tomorrow, which one would it be and why?

For me its Alzheimer's, I’m getting older and it seems an especially cruel disease to steal ones life away like that.

What would you like Team 24, to know about you, that might surprise them?

Mmm, I still don’t eat beetroot? On a folding theme, I rarely ever fold under my own name, that’s been the same for ten years now.

Where do you see your folding activities in the next year or two?

Electricity being what it is it will get reduced to two boxes, but hopefully both will be points monsters, or at least worth running points wise for the cost.

Have you been successful borging? If so, what kind of borging worked for you? (For example, friends, family, and/or work?)

I ran a farm at work for three years, but that’s over now. Also borged a few servers in datacenters here and there.

Any ideas on improving the DC subforum, or suggestions or improvements for our Team?

Not really, the forums are ace, that’s why we are all here after all.

What challenges have you faced in your F@H efforts?

Mainly just replacing hardware, sometimes trips to work to reboot stuff, nothing really exciting.

How much do you spend on F@H? If you consider equipment, electricity, and other activities that support F@H... how much of your life has DC’ing consumed?

Um, ten years, that’s a long time to think about bills, replacement hardware etc, so prob a bit by now.

Do you have friends, family, or neighbors that know about your F@H activities? What do they think?

Net friends do, some help out now and then, but it’s always the cost that drives them off the idea.

Do you game? If so, how long and what types do you prefer? Consoles or PC?

PC gamer, FPS only, run the website for a clan etc, usual gamer stuff.
