Add-in cards slot into the motherboard to add functionality. These include but are not limited to Sound Cards, Video Cards, RAID Cards and TV-Tuners.

They usually plug into one of the following kinds of slots:

• PCI-E
• PCI-X
• AGP
• PCI

• AMR
