You know when words like "hackerspace" and "robotic sports" get thrown around, geeks are having way too much fun. Lemming sends word that this weekend, Hackerspace Brisbane are having open days and hosting the Robot Wars Australian Nationals.
Come watch as combat robots from all over Australia face off in a death match, until a single triumphant robot is left! Hackerspace Brisbane will also be open both days for members and visitors alike. We will have a blacksmith on site on the Saturday working out the back of the hackerspace, definitely worth a look.
It's in Fortitude Valley from 10am today and tomorrow, with detailed directions here.
