Robert from SAGE-AU got in touch: A piece of journalism was published in several Fairfax publications on Friday 13th April 2012 which insinuates that up to 40% of IT staff with responsibility for email systems (ie many of our members) are illegitimately "spying" on their boss's email and that of other staff within their organisations.
As a representative body for people who are the target of this suggestion (which we believe to be entirely unreasonable), SAGE-AU has published a formal response to the article linked above.
