Julian Assange has launched a political party in Australia. Assange, the Australian founder of the whistleblowing website, said the WikiLeaks Party would field seven candidates for upper house Senate seats in the states of New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. Despite being holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for more than a year, the 42-year-old will run in Victoria, saying he planned to be "an independent scrutineer of government activity".

Meanwhile Clive Palmer is going to build the world's biggest dinosaur park in QLD. They fed the displays video from an ASUS AMD HD 7970 DirectCU II card, which features four DisplayPort connections and 3GB of GDDR5. That card, by itself, was just barely up to the task of delivering 30 frames per second in Dirt3 at high settings.

Honda have made a cool reproduction of a Senna lap using telemetry and an audio-visual setup around the track. Using telemetric data Honda has recreated Senna’s record-breaking 1989 lap of Suzuka in light and sound as part of an incredible video posted on the company’s website.
