One of my favourite sub-forums on OCAU is the Retro & Arcade Forum. If you long for the good old days of oddball computer hardware or retro gaming, or love your arcade machines, it's definitely worth a look. Here's a few cool recent projects:

XT Restoration & Re-Build
by matz

Commodore 1084S-D2 repair
by aXLe

IBM 5160 XT Restoration
by iMic

Basic Am386 Build
by iMic

Atari SC1435 Monitor Repair

The Ritron Classic (P133)

Astro City Project
by Revenger

Also the current "Retro Let's Play" is The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past. Developed by Nintendo EAD, and published by Nintendo originally in Japan on the Super Famicom in late 1991. North America's Super Nintendo Entertainment System would get a localised version in Mid 1992, and the oft-forgotten PAL gamers would have to wait another quarter until late 1992 for their copy. It is currently ranked 11th in HG101's top 47,858 games of all time.
