GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and the GeForce FX 5700 Ultra

nVidia have announced the release of two new graphics cards, namely, the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and the GeForce FX 5700 Ultra. The GeForce FX 5700 Ultra is aimed at the mid-range line and is based upon the NV36 chip. Aimed at the high-end comes the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra which is built around the NV38. A new set of drivers have also been released, known as the ForceWare Release 50 Graphics Driver. This is said to improve the performance issues seen with nVidia cards and DX9 compatibility. These new cards, and the drivers, have been released just in time to get them on the shelves ready for the holiday shopping spree, but do they deliver anything new?
