iXBT have a monthly roundup (in their cool pseudo-english :) ) of the hardware scene, check it out here.

FiringSquad have a review of the C2-566 on an older BX board. They benchmark it against a C300A and act all surprised when it blows the doors off it. Maybe they could've dug up an old Apple IIe or something to benchmark it against, too. :)

PCExtremes managed to squeeze 3 pages out of an article on changing the fans on their HDD cooler. How exciting!

While your heart's still a-thumpin' in your chest from that last one, ClubOC have reviewed a 60mm fan! Amazing stuff! :) Actually, it moves a serious amount of air.. and is, as you'd expect, loud. So they only gave it 9.5 out of 10. :)

ArsTechnica have a review of a funky vcr-killing toy that encodes video to a HDD so you can watch it later.. or something, I've not read it all yet. Damn, I can't think of anything sarcastic to say about that. Oh, wait.. "Of course, by the time the service is available in Australia we will have evolved into something incapable of viewing TV anyway". That's better.

Interesting article here (but orange text on a chequered background does odd things to my eyes) about force-melting ice using salt to get an insulating layer around your water-cooling reservoir.. hmm!

Kingston have a new flavour of Rambus called SO-RIMMT .. info here.

InsaneHardware report that some AOpen mobos may be shipping with the wrong BIOS chip..

AussieGamer have a review of "Solder of Fortune" up - the new game that lets you, instead of just blowing people up, blow smaller bits off them first.

HotHardware have reviewed the Abit KA7, new KX133 Athlon board that looks pretty sexy. Boy, I'd sure like to get my hands on one of those. [clears throat] .. :)

Finally, we've won SofCom's "Pick Of The Net" award. Awww. :)
