Ok, I bought the HP CD-Writer Plus 9100i.. the drivers on the CD don't work inder Win2K, so I go to the website to look for Win2K drivers.. they say they are available for PURCHASE ..? WTF is the story with selling hardware then selling the drivers separately?

Peter sends word that Optus@Home is available in Brisbane, he read in the Courier Mail that they just rolled out to 100,000 homes and launched the service yesterday..

Tweaktown checked out the Inclose BayCooler II, a hard-drive cooler sporting 3 fans..

NeoSeeker have reviewed a couple of big Socket370 coolers. One of them they claim is the biggest heatsink ever made.. hmm, someone should point out to them it's just an FDP-32 with a bigger fan on top.

Tech-Report put up a purely mathematical examination of the Voodoo5 vs GeForce2 argument.. they think the drivers are not telling the full story yet.

In case you're wondering what to get me for Christmas, you might want to read this article on ArsTechnica about this device the size of a walkman that contains a full x86 PC.. that can run Linux, or Win98, or whatever you like. 128MB ram, 12GB HDD, can take PPGA or FC-PGA CPU's.. gimme!

This is almost as cool, 4.8GB of MP3's you can carry around with you. Thanks Andre. Shame it'll only take 1/3 of my collection.. :)

Club Overclocker have reviewed a stick of Micron Crucial PC133 CAS2 memory.. and gave it 10/10..

Apparently, Creative have some new Win2K drivers for their GeForce Pro card which let Quake3 and UT work properly..

Intellimouse Explorer review here. They say it never needs cleaning, but I've had one for a few months and it's looking decidedly skanky on the little slidey pads. Our review here, anyway.

An article about setting up a home lan here on PCInsight.

Info on VIA here on ChicksHardware.. past present and future of a company that's brought us some very cool chipsets recently.

ChicksHardware (blatantly trying to hook geeks by their sex drive, I say) also checked out a swirly-faced HDD cooler..
