ExtremeOC have taken a look at the new Soyo SY-7VCA and SY-6VCA BIOSes, which enable memory interleaving on those boards. Certainly seems to have made an improvement - I've heard of a couple of other VIA-chipset boards having this feature appear in later BIOSes too, so might be worth looking into.
TE have some info, some guidelines of sorts, for building monster dual-cpu boxes.
A debate up on FiringSquad over whether to buy an off-the-shelf system or buy one in bits and build it yourself.
