Ozone posted a very interesting message in the forums - as he calls it, "how to know if your RAM does CAS2, or 'how to re-use your BAD DIMMs in Linux HOWTO'".. useful memory-testing utilities, and a way to tell the Linux kernel not to use the bad part of otherwise-good memory modules.

TechPatrol have an case mod posted.. nothing too amazing but a nice job.
