Dangit. I was halfway through a news post, got distracted, a mate dropped by and I went and played pool for a couple of hours.. got back to find a blue screen. Bwaaaargh! Still, some stuff to keep you busy..

You may have noticed I added a link " OCAU chat" to the left-hand menu in the site template. This explains how to get into the IRC channel where lots of site regulars hang out for way too much of the day. :) Also, I updated the Article/Review Archive with links to the last month or so's content. Also updated the little drop-down boxes at the top of the page with some more recent stuff.

Insanehardware reviewed the AOpen MK33 SocketA motherboard. Tiny, KT133, no multiplier adjustment.. hmm.

In-depth technical comparison of Linux and Windows2000.. here on BBSpot. :)

Pages and pages of pics from the recent QGL finals, the biggest LAN party ever held in Australia, beginning here. For an idea of the size of it, check this picture out. There are demos from the tournament finals here.. thanks alchemy.

Hellfire pointed out this page which has, among other things, a WCPUID shot of a P4 overclocked to 2144MHz.. fnarr fnarr.

OCWorkbench reviewed the Gigabyte 7DX DDR (Socket A) mobo.

ClubOC checked out some copper-based thermal paste..

OCOnline reviewed the Asus A7V. I've been playing with one of these for the last couple of weeks, very nice mobo..
