Whoever said in the forums that I needed a bloody huge alarm clock was right.. I slept right through it today and missed uni... whoops :/

Insane Hardware are back from the dead with some scoopage on AOpen Heatsink/Fan combos. They look to be for the OEM market only.. and one of 'em bears a striking resemblance to a Thermaltake Volcano II..

A reader named Desh sent in this link to another Mir tracker.. Just looking at it now.. i think Mir has crashed already.. into the datacentre where that website is hosted ;) But seriously, looking around the site you can find graphs like this showing you how high it is above your head.. is 200km enough?

Over at Digit-Life they've reviewed the A7V-E.. a cut down version of the A7V (KT133, not KT133A) designed for the budget market.. one less DIMM slot, one more PCI slot, no CNR slot.. voila!

Dan has taken a look at the ASUS A7A-266.. he says it features both types of RAM slots - Country AND Western.. well ain't that grand *slaps thighs* It's worth reading tho, like most of his articles.

Romio points us in the direction of a rant about Telstra/O@H security.. basically about how untrained techs are leaving NetBIOS enabled. Can safely say that the tech who installed mine didn't.. wish I could say that my email worked at the moment, or that latency was at it's normal low.. but, I can't. While we're speaking about O@H, have a look at this.. all I can is.. whooooops. Lucky I'm still on the trial period when netstats don't count.. *fires Napster back up*

More lovin' on that Tyan Thunder K7 Dual Thunderbird board.. this time over on PCstats.. gee, I would *really* like a review sample of one of those boards please Tyan :)

Scott has told us that Anand has benchmarked the GeForce3. I'd like one of those too please, MSI :)

GlideUnderground have reviewed a 16x AOpen DVD Drive that dosn't feature a cup holder. Yes, that was lame.. but it was their joke, not mine. If you're really slow it means it's a slot-load drive btw..

It's always fun when you see things like this over on MS TechNet telling you that the security certificate regeime MS promoted as being unhackable has been, well, hacked. WindowsUpdate anyone? What? I need to install BackOrrifce so windows works better? Okily Dokily..

Finally, HarBinger sent in this news feature about a peice of software record companies are supposedly using to track copyright violators.. now while it could be real, I reckon its a fake. Why? well - the interface for one - it's just too pretty. Second of all, if it really *was* the record industry's Napster hunter, the website would of been sued by now. Third, my names not on the list... and guess how my netstats got so high.. ;)
