Whenever I ask someone to do the news coz I'm busy, they comment on the page about how I'm going to whip them. Do they want me to whip them? You dirty, dirty little newsweasels. That thing about locking Sciby in the cupboard was true, though.
EuroGamer have a performance SDRAM comparison posted. A fairly basic look at Crucial and Mushkin offerings.
Speaking of RAM, in my wanderings I found this handy RAMFinder thing on Frostytech, which can help you identify mystery sticks, lots of photos of ram chips with URL's for specs etc.
Plenty of people in the IRC channel have been deathly silent lately, off playing the new game Black&White instead of more traditional IRC pursuits (such as hurling abuse at each other or attempting to pursuade everyone that 2x500MHz CPU's really does equal a 1GHz CPU). Dan from DansData seems to be quite badly hooked too, and has written a review of it.
LoneWolf, forum Moderator extraordinaire, Sciby impersonator and all-around good guy, thinks the world should know about this "Hare" utility which apparently makes Windows multitask a little more intelligently. I've not tried it, but it apparently speeds things up nicely.
Manaz, forum Administrator extraordinaire, professional stunt driver and all-around good guy (too), points out this PC in a Nintendo.. hmm, where's the power supply..
From there I found a funny Marshmallow Bunny Testing site.. the best bits are the description of the "control bunny" responses. :)
OCCafe discover that ducting aircon into your PC makes it colder. I'll be danged! :)

ClubOC have reviewed some non-conductive CPU shims. Finally someone's making these, I ranted about this over a year ago (shortly after frying my SlotA classic athlon, d'oh).
