First day at the new job tomorrow, so a short news post then off to bed for me. :)

Kharn83 sends word that a new version of "Optuse5" is out. Get it here. According to Sticks, it's a stats counter that lets you keep tabs on your netstats and calculates it to the amount you've actually downloaded so as to give you an idea of how much you can leech. It's a zip file from someone's webspace, so make sure you virus scan it first etc.

There's a beta test for some MMORPG going on atm called El Kardian. It's an anime based MMORPG for those interested, about 70mb worth to download and the server is based in singapore so a cable connection is probably reccomended. Everything
is in english as well so theres no worry about not understanding something going on on the server! Thanks akura.

The Mirror (that's his name, honest) tells us that AMD are to sponsor a Ferrari f1 team, and that Mr PotatoHead has turned 50. (But he doesn't drive an F1) :)

In case you don't already know of this, it's pretty neat. It's Star Wars in ASCII. Thanks edj.

Scott sends this link that proves maybe there is a time, when case modding goes too far. :)

Robert tells us that the new 27.30 beta detonators are available for download, right here off MediaXplosion.

If you haven't had your fill of GeForce4 news, here's some more. GameSpot has GeForce4 Ti and MX coverage : Details, Tests, and Videos.

Dan at Livepc.tv has finished yet another excellent video "howto". This time, he shows you how to build a light which pulses to music.

VoidYourWarranty just got their hands on a 1.6 GHz. Northwood, and so far have been able to get 2.24 GHz. out of it with stock cooling (not even fully pushing it). There's a lot of speculation on how far these bad
boys can go, and even with stock cooling it looks like you can get an impressive overclock. Read the whole deal here.
