Happy Birthday to Stewart "VooDoo" Paternoster! I won't reveal how old he is, but suffice to say: old. :)

Some impressive new machines added to the PCDB in the last couple of days: jamiCON's watercooled box with keyboard LED's and various other mods, WiZE_GUY's peltier and water-cooled box with home-made VU meter and berger's fully-custom wooden fulltower.

Boky spotted that Amiga are providing the O/S for the new Nokia Mediaterminal, a new "infotainment" device.

Interesting thing on Digital-Explosion, where they construct a HDD watercooling cage.

Moddin.net take the HDD window mod a step further, with LED's too.

Apparently this program uses your monitor to broadcast music which you can pick up with an AM radio, thanks Grant.. I'm sure there's a reason why you'd want to do that.. is it the ultimate in cheap (and nasty) sound cards? Or just bored Linux geeks. :)

JAB spotted this list of videoconferencing software you can download via the net.

From Slashdot via Brembo "www.whatisthematrix.com has been "reloaded" today. Click on the keyboard twice, and enter the password "reload" to get to the new material. There's QuickTime VRs, on the set shots and most likely a slew of new hidden stuff. Happy searching."

Some forum-goers got up to some rollerblading craziness on the weekend.

Tobitech have a quick guide to installing the Senfu Digital Thermometer into a drive bay cover.. pretty basic stuff.

LivePC have a video review comparing the GF2MX and GF4MX.

Grant notes that Abit have an nForce motherboard now, with ATA133 RAID, too. My review of the first non-reference nForce board (MSI's K7N420 Pro) is here.

Finally.. the Sydney BBQ was on today and I dropped in for a couple of hours, a nice group of people, fun was had. Also, a few OCAU readers got together in the Adelaide hills for a "Car Cruise".. I guess in SA "cruise" means something different to NSW:

Apparently nobody was hurt, thankfully..
