Gigabyte announced what they claim is the first Intel motherboard supporting dual PCI-E graphics. GIGABYTE engineers have discovered a way bridge two PCI-E graphics cards GPU signals together, dramatically improving 3D rendering, fill rates, and light shadings. (see figure right). Dual Graphic Link technology enables users to experience more realistic 3D graphics animations, and improves overall graphics performance by more than 50%. This sounds like nVidia's SLI, but not on their nForce product. Board picture here, more info in a 373KB DOC here.
DFI launched LANParty NF4 SLI-DR and LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D motherboards, thanks bsbozzy.
