*UPDATE*: This WP thread, apparently created by Veridas's John Russell is supposedly going to have an update about the outage soon.
As I am sure some of you know (well, those of you with alternatives for Net access, that is), Veridas's network has been down since Wednesday, with no indication as to what is happening yet (other than rumours, be they accurate or not...). Apparently some 30,000 customers are affected.
If you are affected (like I am), and are looking for information about the current status of the service (and cannot contact your ISP - like I cannot), Whirlpool is a good source of information (and misleading rumours and irate customers...), specifically:
- Front page news thread and replies, and
- This thread.
