Server instability this morning was caused by the PCDB going crazy due to a link from FARK.com to Volenti's waterfall PC. Quite a little SlashDot, it would seem. Anyway, in the interests of not having everything else on the server die, I've disabled the PCDB and things seem to be back to normal. Must have a look at making the PCDB do less on-the-fly work with images.
