Sniper spotted this extremely cool R2-D2 Projector. We knew that there was a motorized, fully-articulated R2-D2 projector with built-in DVD, iPod dock, all kinds of digital media inputs, and Millennium Falcon remote control, but we never imagined it would be so amazingly drooltastic as this video shows.

Here's an interesting 3D LED display, with a (loud) youtube video too. Here are some numbers: it is build with 25000 lightballs, each containing 12 LED’s. It can display 16 million colors and 25 images per second. It measures 5 by 5 by 1 meter and it is 3.3 tons heavy. Impressive!

Vandals have cut off about 10,000 homes in western Sydney, by cutting cables. Customers in Rooty Hill, Erskine Park, Arndell Park, and Shalvey had also been affected by the damage, Telstra spokesman Warwick Ponder said.

NASA is inviting people of all ages to send their name to the Moon. "Everyone who sends their name to the moon, like I'm doing, becomes part of the next wave of lunar explorers," said Cathy Peddie, deputy project manager for LRO at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. "The LRO mission is the first step in NASA's plans to return humans to the moon by 2020, and your name can reach there first. How cool is that?"
