OCAU's folding@home team has smashed their previous record set earlier this week by producing 1.5 Million points in 24 hours. OCAU's daily average (based on the last 7 days production) has also entered new territory, with it now standing above 1.3 Million points per day.
The new Nvidia GPU client for 8400GS cards and greater has been the main catalyst for the increases of the valuable scientific work done by the team. It uses the very fast computational power of today's video cards to process the data. There is also a client for ATi cards, most 2000-series cards are supported, but it runs best on 3000-series ATi hardware or higher.
