Ian Usher of Perth has decided to put all of his possessions up for auction, leaving only his wallet and passport to begin a new life with. ALife4Sale.com is exactly what it says. My whole life is for sale. Everything. Lifestyle. House. Car. Motorbike. Job. Friends. Everything that I own, and all of the things that I don't own, but that are still an important part of my life! Thanks Rob.

Bit-tech have published a hands-on preview of Tom Clancy's EndWar, a game that is controlled entirely by voice commands. Endwar is perhaps best described as a 3D action-RTS as the focus of the game is very much set on using small numbers of units to take over medium-sized locations with minimum casualties. Supreme Commander this is not – if anything it's more like a shrunken down version of World in Conflict with a much darker palette and a more sympathetic Russian antagonist.

IGN Australia recently interviewed Quinton Flynn - the voice of Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 4. Having worked as a professional voice actor for more than a decade and with a successful screen and musical career on his resume, the venerable Quinton Flynn sat down with IGN Australia to discuss the ins and outs of the trade. Specifically, Flynn digs deep and discusses his work on the widely acclaimed Metal Gear Solid 4 as Raiden, plus his response to the fan reaction to Metal Gear Solid 2.

tkArena have a guide on how to use Windows Vista's native backup program. Everyone has heard horror stories about computer viruses wiping out hard drives, hardware failures causing loss of work, and other data woes. Performing regular backups remains the only solution. A good backup can get your computer back to working condition in a matter of minutes rather than hours or days. Windows Vista has a built in backup utility that can help you keep your computer settings, photos, documents, and videos safe.

APH Networks look at Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, a photo manipulation program targeted at amateur photographers. Released in 2001 alongside Photoshop 7.0, Elements remains an important part of Adobe's Photoshop line. It's evolved through five stages to get to this version we have in our hands - Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, which was bundled with Adobe Premiere Elements 4.

TweakTown tested the performance of four Radeon HD 4850s in CrossfireX on an ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution motherboard. While ASUS use a x16/x16/x4/x4 configuration, it's really one of the best on the market. So, with four HD 4850s in hand and hopefully a driver that was going to work, it was time to take four of these single slot bad boys to town.

An anonymous Slashdot reader recently posted a one line AppleScript script which forces ARDAgent to load any program as root in Apple's OS X operating system, though Apple has advised it is "not a cause for concern." While most of the coverage of this vulnerability so far says it exists in both OS X 10.4 and 10.5, I could not get the test script to work on my Tiger installation, and all attempts to exploit this on the systems of other 10.4.11 owners I spoke with generated the same error message: "AppleEvent timed out." It worked flawlessly on numerous 10.5 machines in use at washingtonpost.com, however.
