Having an issue with the news mailbox at the moment, but should hopefully have it back up to speed soon. Speaking of news, Michael Jackson's recent passing prompted such a flurry of requests that Google thought it was being attacked. "The spike in searches related to Michael Jackson was so big that Google News initially mistook it for an automated attack," Google said.

Battlefield Heroes has opened to the public, for free, at first. To try the casual shooter, simply head over to the Battlefield Heroes website with either Firefox or Internet Explorer, and hit the big, round "play now!" button. XbitLabs compared some new high-end PSUs. DC-DC converters, independent stabilization, synchronous transformers and synchronous rectifiers, over 90% efficiency factor - please meet new high-end power supplies: Antec Signature, Enermax Revolution 85+ and Seasonic M12D.

The Pirate Bay have been denied a retrial. It looks as though The Pirate Bay will have to hope for the best on appeal now that a Swedish court ruled that the judge's membership with two pro-copyright organizations does not constitute bias.
