AMD have unveiled their fastest quad-core CPU to date, the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition. As usual there is no press release on AMD's website, but I can tell you it's a 3.4GHz AM3 CPU with 2MB of L2 and 6MB of L3. In fact it's identical to the previous 955BE apart from a speed bump and a TDP 15W higher at 140W. It's the highest-clockspeed CPU AMD has ever released.
