NVIDIA have released ForceWare 197.13 which addresses some serious fan issues in an earlier beta version, as well as increased performance and some other goodies. Adds SLI and multi-GPU support for top new gaming titles including Assassin Creed II, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Command and Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight, Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City, Mass Effect 2, Napoleon: Total War, and Zombie Driver.

Not to be outdone, AMD have released a Catalyst 10.3 preview driver. ShaneBaxtor.com has some more info about interesting things in this driver.

If you find mouse acceleration annoying in Windows 7, JimX points out a fix, with more info here and here. It is a registry file that removes Windows 7 mouse pointer acceleration. It is like the CPL Mouse Fix and Cheese Mouse Fix, but gives exactly 1-to-1 mouse to pointer response for Windows 7.
