Facebook has announced its new messaging service called "The Social Inbox." You decide how you want to talk to your friends: via SMS, chat, email or Messages. They will receive your message through whatever medium or device is convenient for them, and you can both have a conversation in real time. You shouldn't have to remember who prefers IM over email or worry about which technology to use. Simply choose their name and type a message.

NVIDIA officially releases its budget friendly GeForce GTX 460 SE today. The GTX 460 SE is a new variant that is designed to give a good price-performance level without compromising on memory amount or bandwidth. It retains 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface of the GTX 460 1 GB variant, but has a lower CUDA core count of 288. Clock speeds are slightly lower, too.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt says smartphones will soon support bump technology and mobile payments. Schmidt came on stage at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco on Monday, with a mystery phone running a new version of Android 2.3 (the as-yet-unannounced Nexus S). He bumped the phone to wake it up, and phone immediately located itself and began providing information about the hotel.

VR-Zone preview ASUS' upcoming P8P67 Deluxe motherboard. This Intel P67 Express based motherboard is designed for the next-generation Intel LGA 1155 'Sandy Bridge' Core processors, and sports an industry-leading 16+2 phase digital power design dubbed DIGI+ VRM.
