Go to about <b>:config</b> (remove the space it should be one word) in the address bar then change the following settings.

*To improve the startup time of Firefox add this prefix to the firefox shortcut. (Windows XP Tweak)

* To add the prefix to the Firefox shortcut take these steps:

#Right mouse click on a Firefox shortcut then go to properties.
#In the shortcut properties tab select Target and change the value so it looks like the example below.
