A "generic" Windows Media Center remote control manufactured by an unknown Chinese entity and sold under the Digitech brand in Australia. This is not a "true" infra-red remote in that the receiver is actually a USB keyboard. Whilst the remote itself sends commands to the receiver via infra-red, the receiver translates those signals into actual keyboard presses. As such, you do NOT need to install LIRC in Linux for this remote to work. All you need to do is remap certain keys as "pressed" by the remote to work with their corresponding function in MythTV. For example, MythTV uses the key "P" for Play and Pause. The remote actually sends "CTRL+P" instead, so you'd need to add "CTRL+P" to the Play/Pause key bindings for MythTV.
