The "Thoroughbred-B" cored AthlonXP's seem to be maturing into excellent chips for overclocking. We reviewed the XP2600+ a few months ago and our unexciting results were similar to many elsewhere at the time. However, since then the yields must be improving because we're seeing more and more stories of high overclocks from 2400+ chips etc. Of course, the fact that people can actually buy them now is probably helping. :) XtremeSystems have an article here and Dave sent in this (babelfished from German) article. TheHardWire reviewed some sound-dampening stuff from Akasa. Similar concept to the Dynamat Extreme kit that Sciby reviewed for us a few days ago.. unfortunately, it seems to perform the same too.
Mibberz found a guide to cooling your HDD.. the insides.. with a rifle. It's been done before, but this one is fairly impressive.
